KIA is ready to refresh two of its models in 2019

KIA is going to upgrade its lineup with the trio of vehicles. They would replace the models that are losing traction: The Optima Sedan, Sedona minivan, and the upmarket k900 Sedan. The products were unveiled by the automakers during the New York Auto Show. Throughout February the sales of Sedona have fallen by 38% and the Optima sales have dropped by 31%. In the first 2 months of 2018, the lower volume K900 has sold 54 units which indicate a decline in sales by 65% in comparison to the previous year. So get ready. Give’r!

The refreshed Optima 2019 features a brand-new design cue and technology including stinger inspired LED daytime running lights. The upgradation also offers expanded ADAS (advanced driver assistance system). The 2019 refreshment would sharpen the overall design by making a number of ADAS technology standard across the entire optima line, it highlights the vast number of optima offers.

The president of product planning, KIA motors America stated " A new approach to our award-winning telemetric system, UVO, will make it easier for the buyers to understand its features and UVO pink includes an embedded modem", he further added. "The new two-tone sport seats are for those who are looking to differentiate their optima with European inspired design cues". The updated Sedona will come with newly design front and rear fascias whereas the minivan would now share a similar design language to other new vehicles in the brands lineup. The Sedona comes in 5 trim levels come: L, LX, EX, EXpremium, SX and SXL.

KIA is upgrading its rear entertainment system with an addition of 10.1 dual touch screen located on the back of the front seat, replacing the previously incorporated model's single overhead screen to accommodate the children riding the car in the rear seats. Moreover, the second generation K900 is a little longer and wider than its predecessor however according to KIA it looks relatively tighter due to the reimagined proportions. Post up gradation the K900 is powered by a 3.3-liter twin Turbo V6 Engine which is also found in the sporty stinger and the engine generates 365 HP.
